Poems »

As an amateur, I have always written poems as a form of therapy. The last year has been one of great transition in my life. Turning 40, working for a hospital system during the pandemic, losing my father, saying goodbye to teenage children leaving the nest and discovering newfound biological family has been a time of great joy and sorrow. Poetry has been a useful tool to get me through powerful emotions.
