I grew up in Czechoslovakia during challenging times. I traveled to England and the USA to learn English and also volunteered for various nonprofits such as the Red Cross, Music Ministry, the United States Institute of Democracy, and Human Rights. I wrote "Simeta," a story tale from Moravia that reveals an unusual narrative of freedom and resilience. I have a fondness for poetry, art, and music. Currently residing in California, I thoroughly enjoy hiking, indulging in music and art, and experiencing nature alongside my husband.
