Deep in the forest is the waterfall,
Surrounded by trees that are strong and tall,
I gaze at the water splashing and free,
Tumbling and tossing it satisfies me.

No restraints, no restrictions its clear waters fall,
Inviting, invigorating I answer its call,
For God's water cleanses, refreshing my soul,
I feel alive and joyful as I am made whole.

About this poem

Whilst continuing to do my nature writing I had to write about a waterfall. Then I decided to turn what I had wrote into a short poem. A poem about God cleansing my soul and likening it to a waterfall. Kim

Wow, what a beautiful and uplifting poem about the power and beauty of a waterfall! Your vivid description of the waterfall and its surroundings really painted a picture in my mind. The imagery of the water tumbling and tossing is so refreshing and invigorating. I love the message of feeling cleansed and renewed by God's water, it is so spiritual and moving.

One suggestion for improvement could be to maybe add some more sensory details to really bring the scene to life even more. Adding details about the sounds of the water, the feel of the mist on your skin, or the scent of the forest around you could really enhance the reader's experience.

Overall, this poem is fantastic and really captures the essence of the waterfall experience. Keep up the great work!
