Analysis of Jesus Christ Is Our Righteousness

Jesus Christ Is Our Righteousness
Author: Mark V. Markov

Even though
Jesus Christ is your righteousness
What kind of life
Does God wants you to live?

Once you believe
And accept Jesus Christ
As your Savior and Lord
This you must know

God doesn't want you to live
A life of sin
God doesn't want you to live
A life in sin

God wants you to live a life,
Where you do
What is right
Meaning God wants you to live
A life of righteousness

And if when you fail or make a mistake
When you fall short
When you sin.
Ask for forgiveness
And put your best effort
Not to repeat that sin again.

Jesus Christ is our righteousness
But that doesn't mean
That God wants us to live a life of sin
God doesn't want us to live
A life in sin

God wants us
To live a life
Where we do what is right
Before Him.

What is right before God?
A life of righteousness
With Jesus Christ
Being our example

We need to put our best effort
To live a life of righteousness
Once we become,
God’s obedient children.

Even though we are not perfect
We still need to put our effort
To do right in this life
Because that is what God wants us to do
As His obedient children.

This is so crucial for your salvation
Don't be misled by false pastors and false preachers
By the false ideology
Where you are
Indirectly being led astray

Encouraged to live a life of sin
To live a life in sin
Because Jesus Christ is our righteousness?
When you are motivated
To not ask for forgiveness
For your sins before God?

There is a reason why
When have the verse in the New Testament
In the first book of John
Chapter one

After the grace was given
We have this verse
That says

If we confess our sins
He is faithful and just
To forgive us our sins
And to cleanse us
From all unrighteousness

So to be clean from sin
We need to confess our sins
Before God
And as the model prayer from Jesus Christ
For His disciples,

It went like this
Forgive us our sins
As we forgive the ones
Indebted to us.

So don't let the false pastors
And the false preachers
To mislead you
And to persuade you indirectly
To continue to live in sin
When you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior
Don't let them persuade you
To live a life in sin.

Even though
Jesus Christ is our rightesousness
We still need to live a life
That is pleasing to God the Father
We need to live a life of righteousness
With the Lord Jesus Christ
Being our example.

In this life
We need to be Christ like
Yes in this life
Jesus Christ is our righteousness
So if we mess up
We can ask for forgiveness
And be cleansed by His blood
With our motive to do what is right.

We must still put our best effort
To live a life of righteousness
With Jesus Christ as our example
We need to live a life in righteousness

Even though we are not perfect
We still need to put our best effort
To do right in life
Before God.

For God doesn't want us to live our life in sin
As we become believers
God doesn't want us to live in sin
When we accept Jesus Christ
As our Savior and Lord
God wants us to do right in life
And not to do wrong

For if we continually do wrong
If we continually sin in this life
Than Hebrews 10 says
There is no grace to covers our sins
But only the wrath of the living God awaits.

I hope and pray
That people would realize
And that they stop teaching other people
The hidden lies

For if we don't live a life pleasing to God
Once we accept our Lord Jesus Christ
If we continually sin
Without changing our lives
When we started
To follow our Lord Jesus Christ
Then those people
Could lose their salvation.

1 John 1:5-10 ESV

5 This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

6 If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.

7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

10 If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Hebrews 10:19-31 ESV

19 Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus,

20 by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh,

21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God,

22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.

24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works,

25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.

26 For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,

27 but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries.

28 Anyone who has set aside the law of Moses dies without mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses.

29 How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace?

30 For we know him who said, “Vengeance is mine; I will repay.” And again, “The Lord will judge his people.”

31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Isaiah 56:1-11 ESV

1 Thus says the Lord:
“Keep justice, and do righteousness,
for soon my salvation will come,
    and my righteousness be revealed.

2 Blessed is the man who does this,
and the son of man who holds it fast,
who keeps the Sabbath, not profaning it,
and keeps his hand from doing any evil.”

3 Let not the foreigner who has joined himself to the Lord say,
    “The Lord will surely separate me from his people”;
and let not the eunuch say,
“Behold, I am a dry tree.”

4 For thus says the Lord:
“To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths,
who choose the things that please me
    and hold fast my covenant,

5 I will give in my house and within my walls
    a monument and a name
    better than sons and daughters;
I will give them an everlasting name
that shall not be cut off.

6 “And the foreigners who join themselves to the Lord,
to minister to him, to love the name of the Lord,
    and to be his servants,
everyone who keeps the Sabbath and does not profane it,
    and holds fast my covenant—

7 these I will bring to my holy mountain,
    and make them joyful in my house of prayer;
their burnt offerings and their sacrifices
    will be accepted on my altar;
for my house shall be called a house of prayer
    for all peoples.”

8 The Lord God,
who gathers the outcasts of Israel, declares,
“I will gather yet others to him
    besides those already gathered.”
Israel's Irresponsible Leaders

9 All you beasts of the field, come to devour—
all you beasts in the forest.

10 His watchmen are blind;
    they are all without knowledge;
they are all silent dogs;
    they cannot bark,
dreaming, lying down,
    loving to slumber.

11 The dogs have a mighty appetite;
    they never have enough.
But they are shepherds who have no understanding;
they have all turned to their own way,
each to his own gain, one and all.

1 John 3:1-24 ESV

1 See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

2 Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.

3 And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.

4 Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness.

5 You know that he appeared in order to take away sins, and in him there is no sin.

6 No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him.

7 Little children, let no one deceive you. Whoever practices righteousness is righteous, as he is righteous.

8 Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.

9 No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God's seed abides in him; and he cannot keep on sinning, because he has been born of God.

10 By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother.

11 For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

12 We should not be like Cain, who was of the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own deeds were evil and his brother's righteous.

13 Do not be surprised, brothers, that the world hates you.

14 We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. Whoever does not love abides in death.

15 Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

16 By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.

17 But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?

18 Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.

19 By this we shall know that we are of the truth and reassure our heart before him;

20 for whenever our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and he knows everything.

21 Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God;

22 and whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him.

23 And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us.

24 Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.

Revelation 3:1-5  ESV

1 “And to the angel of the church in Sardis write: ‘The words of him who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars.
“‘I know your works. You have the reputation of being alive, but you are dead.

2 Wake up, and strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your works complete in the sight of my God.

3 Remember, then, what you received and heard. Keep it, and repent. If you will not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come against you.

4 Yet you have still a few names in Sardis, people who have not soiled their garments, and they will walk with me in white, for they are worthy.

5 The one who conquers will be clothed thus in white garments, and I will never blot his name out of the book of life. I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels.

Righteousness is the quality or state of being morally correct and justifiable.
[1] It can be considered synonymous with "rightness" or being "upright".

[2] It can be found in Indian religions and Abrahamic traditions, among other religions, as a theological concept.

For example, from various perspectives in Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, Christianity, and Judaism it is considered an attribute that implies that a person's actions are justified, and can have the connotation that the person has been "judged" or "reckoned" as leading a life that is pleasing to God.
