Dormia sob vaga luz em sombria noite
o céu em tons de chumbo, gatos pardos
As nuvens, decadências, graves fardos
o ar, umidade mórbida de açoite.

Sonhava (por que não?) sonhos dourados
em luzes dançarinas, tu me foste.
E nesta noite, mais que noutras noites
fugi do que não sou, do que é passado.

E ali me senti acuado, me vi órfão:
Sem pai, sem mãe, sem filhos. Sem amores...
E nada resolvi acerca de tudo.

Então tua voz ouvi, tal qual doce órgão
e os meus pés se elevaram sem pendores
e as tuas mãos me abraçaram feito escudo.
