Analysis of Everlasting Word
Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)
When it looks like the end then its only beginning
In a world full of lies where the people keep sinning
When the nations are raging and the leaders deceive
Then you shouldn’t fear death if it’s God you believe
He sent you a Savior who will win every war
Because he is King of kings and Lord of all lords!
So be strong and courageous all you people of God
And don’t fear little things like a beating with rods
The world is not worthy of children like you
So, come out of her now come eat with the few
All the things that you see with your eyes are now passing
But our Lord Jesus Christ and his words are what’s lasting
