Analysis of Lost Inspiration

Cecilia C Dizon 1982 (Norzagaray, Bulacan)

One day I wake up alone
I ask myself:  When are you coming home?
When will I see your face again?
Tell me; are we still together until the end?

When will I see your smile?
Even just for a while
When will I hear your voice?
Tell me; is this your choice?

You choose to say “goodbye”
I never ask the reason why
You choose to go away
And I can’t ask you to stay

Destiny bring us together
Since then I believe in forever
But your CHOICE broke it apart
And rudely broke my heart

Tell me, why do you have to go?
Don’t you know I love so?
But things will never be the same again
As you left me alone in the rain

You’ll never feel this pain
Tell me, when will I love again?
After this heartache I gain.
Is this your kind of game?

Now I was alone
Pretending I can make it on my own
Trying to forget this emotion
As I realize: I LOST my INSPIRATION…

About this poem

I wrote this poem in a gloomy weather depressed day of my life. Finishing this poem makes me release all my emotions thinking i could make it on my own.
