Analysis of Stranger in the Mirror

Leonard Wilson 1948 (Washington state)

+*Stranger in The Mirror*+

I looked in the mirror, this morning
That person looked
somewhat like me
The image, perceived
just will not  be
the one I was hoping to see

When I see my photo,
it's  no-one I know
A stranger is looking right back
You've made it clear
that's the way I appear,
but it's hard to take that as a fact!

When others deduce who I am,
Their description fits
some other man
The man in my mind
is of some other kind
I'm wondering now, who I am!
