Analysis of That day...

Murry Priyanshu Rao 2009 (Rayagada, Odisha)

The place where I find,
Solace, solitude and peace of mind -
Is where the fervent rays benight,
On the slumbered alleyway, I do sight...

On the window sill I sit
Seeing the cukoo's jovial lit!
Singing the paen of nature's gift,
Obscured by that day's mist...

As far as long as I could see,
That day's misty quandary,
But then struck those Wordsworth's words -
"To begin, begin", I uttered!!
To miles to leagues I leaped I went
Decieving those wicked thrists and pungent scents!
Searching for the silver lining of the day,
But still then I was miles astray!

I went I dreamt to the extent, just as fine,
Before I collapsed by the tests of time,
But never turned my back -
To ponder at what I lacked...

This was actually what I lacked!
That I never turned back!!
To look at what I did,
What horrendous sins I hid!

Then I saw that sun-drenched morn,
The day, the time for which I longed...
Thousands and millions and billions of lessons I was taught!
By that day's simple thought.
