Analysis of He Is My Escape
His voice…
His words…
No one ever left me speechless before.
His eyes…
They met mine…
And I’ve been lost ever since.
This secret…
It’s a rush…
But I want to scream it,
From the highest mountain top.
Sober as a judge…
Yet high off his memory…
My feet,
They can’t seem to touch the ground.
Is it the adrenaline…?
Or is it the way his hand holds mine…?
My hand fits in his,
Like a once lost puzzle piece.
Is it the way we laugh…
When the pieces aren’t placed our own way…?
I want it my way,
He wants it his way,
But I win.
The way he makes me smile…
When the music says it better…
Better than I ever could.
The music…
The words…
They lift me,
Higher and higher,
As I drift away.
He is my escape…
