Analysis of Excuse

To choose a person
To blend a being

To love with hurt
To synchronize meaning

To take a hand
So excited to hold

You freeze the moment
One seems to let go.

I always let go.
Play god

The worth I find in them
Was once
Abscient in me.

The tears that fall now
Are a sweated mint tea

I cry for the fact

That I now love
To be.

The patience he shows
The kindness I've seen

The love he said grows
That I now must believe.

The way he sees words
understands and perceives

Every reason to know
He’s not staying to leave

Every breath that I’ve held
Must eventually ease

Every excuse that I've made
To not fall on my knees

Will never work on him

He truly loves me.
