Analysis of King of the Earth
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
The world is established,
It shall never be moved;
People will be punished,
Those that have disapproved.
Because our Lord reigns,
Judging with equity;
For the Father ordains,
By judging righteously.
Let the Heavens be glad,
And let the earth rejoice;
The righteous are not sad,
As the sea roars its voice.
Let all the fields exult,
And everything in it;
Ample yield to result,
From devoted merit.
Trees in the forest sing,
Sway from a gentle breeze;
As the autumn will bring,
The color of their leaves.
The Lord comes to the earth,
Judging for righteousness;
And giving a new birth,
Those having faithfulness.
