Analysis of Wild Serenade: A Symphony of Two
"My love, let us wander away, far from the madding crowd,
Into nature's sweet bosom, her glades and meadows endowed.
With songbirds that trill and flowers that fill the air with perfume,
Let's revel and roam, make these wilds our own dear living room.
The burbling of brooks, the winds through the trees,
Are melodies sweeter than any maestro could squeeze
From violin strings, harp's gentle caress,
Nothing compares to days with my darling, my precious.
We'll trek o'er the hills, through valleys and dells,
Past babbling creeks, mossy banks, rocky knells,
And when we grow weary, stop to picnic and lunch,
On a quilt 'neath the shade of an old willow's branch.
No fine restaurant with food so exquisite,
Could nourish my soul like your presence elysian.
To stare in your eyes, more radiant than stars,
Eclipses the beauty of Venus and Mars.
So let us abscond from the trappings of men,
And build our own world in nature's sweet den.
Where bird song's our symphony, perfume our wine,
And holding you close, ecstasy divine.
For time with you, love, is life's sweetest potion,
Beyond rich or poor, any station or portion.
To wander and wonder, and nurture our bond,
Is heaven on earth, connection so fond."
