Analysis of Painfully Forward

Since in you, I can't love or even trust,
Is why moving on in life is a must,
CUZ what I have left rides on a very thin line,
But as a man, I have to pretend to be fine,
Even though I make the tears I cry every day,
Into a huge wave to wash my heartache away,
CUZ you failed to realize what you meant to me,
Now my heart drifts away to be lost at sea,
And what's eating me up down to the core,
Is why did you not want me anymore.
