Analysis of Anonymous Friends”

In shadows cast by whispered ties, There dwell the friends who wear a guise, Behind closed doors, their laughter flows, Yet in the light, their true face shows.

With eyes averted, they drift away, In crowded rooms, they choose to sway, As if the bond we shared was naught, A fleeting thought, a battle fought.

They cloak their hearts in veils of pride, When social ranks and status collide, In the company of those esteemed, Our friendship fades, or so it seemed.

The words we shared, once rich and deep, Now lost in silence, secrets kept, For in their gaze, I find no trace, Of the warmth we shared in our safe space.

Yet still, I ponder on this dance, The fickle nature of circumstance, For true friends stand through thick and thin, Not swayed by status, nor where we’ve been.

So I shall seek the ones who stay, In every light, come what may, For bonds that flourish in the sun, Are the truest friends, the chosen ones.

And though the shadows may tempt and sway, I'll hold onto those who choose to stay, For in their presence, I find my truth, A friendship built on love and youth.

So let the whispers and the ties fade, I'll walk in the light, unafraid, For in the end, it's the chosen few, Who stand by me, and I by them too.

Together we'll weather the storms that come our way, And emerge stronger, come what may.

For in the bond we share, we find strength and grace, A love that time and distance cannot erase.

So let the shadows dance and play, I'll stand firm with those who choose to stay.

In their light, I'll find my way, And together, we'll face each new day.
