Analysis of The Hospice Care Angel

By flesh of spirit came you through the fire,
A savior-be to the many you’ve blessed,
Embracing their sadness to lift them higher
As they’ve lain in wait to be caressed.

You have tasked yourself to every need,
For it is you who would carry them back,
Sown to many through a gift of your seed
To plant a harvest for those lain in lack.

You've offered yourself over to sacrifice,
A giver to every demand reached out,
You, the bridge, between death and fear
Brought them hope for those lain in doubt.

A world had clung them unto their needs
When life was all but an ill-gotten fight,
You lit the way through their darkest hour,
Soothing death’s fear to calm its fright.

You were the patron of both light and love
An angel prone to all who had wept,
A loving hand for those who were dying,
A beacon of hope for those to be slept.
