Analysis of Trusting God
Do not forget my teaching,
Keep the commands in your heart;
Remember all my preaching,
That should help you to impart.
Because the length of the days,
Adds the years unto your life;
As peace shall add to your ways,
Which shall decrease any strife.
Let not mercy and the truth,
Forsake you of steadfast love;
So that you not be uncouth,
Which would impede from above.
You will be finding favor,
Good success in the Lord’s sight;
Remember He’s your Savior,
That guides you unto His light.
Trust in the Lord with your heart,
Lean not on your perception;
Talk in prayer each day to start,
To help in comprehension.
Acknowledge Him in your way,
To guide you on the straight path;
And avoid in going astray,
To be spared from any wrath.
Turn away from the evil,
And your flesh and bones can heal;
Avoid works of the devil,
To give you spiritual zeal.
