Analysis of Work ( Part 2 )

I've got work on my mind
As I sit here in my office chair
My keyboard clicks and clacks
But my thoughts are elsewhere
I've got to be productive
I've got to be efficient
But my mind is wandering
In a state of constant transition
I've got to figure it out
I've got to make it right
But the tasks keep piling up
And I'm losing sight
Of the deadline looming
Of the expectations set
But I can't seem to focus
My mind is a tangled net
I've got to think outside the box
Find a solution, be creative
But my mind is stuck in a rut
And I'm feeling so frustrated
I've got to make it work
I've got to make it shine
But my thoughts are scattered
And I'm running out of time
I thought it would be different
I thought it would be easy
But now I'm in the thick of it
And it's making me queasy
To think that it was going to work
To believe it would come together
But now I'm questioning everything
And I'm doubting whether
I have what it takes
To succeed in this role
To handle the pressure
And reach my goal
But then a spark ignites
And my mind starts to clear
I remember why I'm here
And my purpose becomes clear
I've got to focus on the task
One step at a time
I've got to let go of doubt
And trust in my own mind
I've got the skills, the knowledge
To make this work, this time
I've got the determination
To make this project shine
With each passing hour
My confidence grows
I am in control
And my work shows
I can see it coming together
As if by magic, it seems
All my hard work, my effort
Is paying off, it gleams
And as the clock ticks
And the deadline draws near
I know in my heart
That I have nothing to fear
For I've got the power
To make it all work out
I've got the strength
To overcome any doubt
And as I finally finish
And take a deep breath
I know that I can do it
I've passed the ultimate test
For I've got the work ethic
I've got the drive
I've got the determination
To make my dreams come alive
So when the next project comes
And I'm feeling unsure
I'll remember this moment
And I'll know for sure
That I can do anything
That I set my mind to
For I am a hard worker
And I know this to be true.
