Analysis of My Pappy
Pappy was my nickname for you,
A lot of special times I treasure true.
Putting your arm around me, you gave me a hug,
Putting your hand out, when I did wrong you gave me a tug.
You were always there when we needed a hand,
So neat to help with tilling up the land.
Going with you to help with the chores,
I liked better than mopping the floors.
Riding along in that pickup truck,
To see a deer would be our luck.
