Analysis of A Monumental Life

How can one inconsequential
Perform something monumental
An act of courage, feat of strength
Moving speeches clear and frank
A sweeping change for all around
Turn conventional upside-down

Should he be born into it
In a weather-worn mold fit
Generations to proclaim
The worthiness of his surname

Or rather judged on worth alone
His force of will, vices prone
Virility and perseverance
Honesty and truth adherence

Both the two it will not matter
Should he current notions shatter
The work fulfilled will make the man
He solely on his proof can stand
Luck of the draw has no hold
In decision of a good man’s mold
God aloof of men and mice
Dictates what will next suffice
To craft the leader of his peers
One to be recalled through the years
