The moon shimmers and treads A
In a display of golden threads A
While the wisp of an angel slides B
Softly through its luminous light. C
So silver and white C
She delicately glides B
Through evening’s twilight. C
With slow regal grace D
She enters the world E
Wings iridescent and pearled. C
She turns on a majestic face, D
Casting a glorious glow F
On those below. F
They love her mystery G
And reverence her, H
With total allure. I
She floats silently by J
Filling their dreams K
With sweet lullabies, L
Before she slips away. M
