Analysis of Halloween Dream
Unbridled by custom, dreams permit our minds
to prepare a canvas to paint all it finds.
Bump and grind of color splash on jagged space.
Counter evolution to barbaric trace.
Lunging figures tackle every moving thing.
Grotesquely carved gargoyles gyring on a string.
Roiling on the surface are unnerving stares.
Circled around by fire found in demon lairs.
Tight as a miser's fist stiffened in the night:
strident trepidation shivering in fright.
Cocktails of piety for popeyed penitents.
Hardened lines of dogma masked by resplendence.
Crouching in the shadows, like crumpled fenders,
ghoulish beings forage as death surrenders.
Twisting animation, sensual and nice,
turbulently fractures like some broken ice.
Tangled, dangling cobwebs are the spider's snare.
All beseeching virgins catch prey unaware.
Explosive oddities jolt all the senses:
irreducibly strange with no defenses.
