Analysis of mend our wounded mouths
when those times our words were strained
and love hemorhaged in softless pain
attempted sounds sawtoothed and dovetailed -
hammered with encrusted nails
i wish i could be the carpenter's tool
that mends our wounded mouth's fool
and caulk the cracks along our window pains
that which love our hearts contain.............
