Analysis of Michael Landon Tribute
This actor most of you should remember
He was born in October, not September
Handsome, I thought with brown hair and eyes
Childhood nickname was "Oogie"; what a surprise
His most famous roles were in two shows on TV
Acting, producing and directing both of these
He lived on a ranch with his brothers and Pa
Little Joe was the youngest of them all
Left handed, wore a gun and a dark hat
On a horse of many colors, a paint, he sat
Now on the prairie, as Charles he was Pa
His wife, Carolyn, was usually called Ma
He had a family and mostly worked the land
Being neighborly, he always gave a hand
This actor died suddenly many years ago
Reruns are great; you can still watch these shows
