Analysis of sound of silence

The sound of a rain drop
Hitting the ground
The end of a journey
Not making a sound

Life is the same
Not leaving your mark
The silence of knowing
You are but a spark

In the everlasting end of time
We hear not the sound of souls
Leaving this life
And contemplating our goals

Living this life of silence
Wanting to be heard
Not like the rain drop
But more like a bird
