On the safe side

The head and the horn,
the rose and the thorn,
separate as day and night
for the herd unable to unite,
flocking on the safe side;
to understand the unicorn
with coke and popcorn
is impossible for the throng.

About this poem

The conventional way of looking at things, the good and the bad; a view that blocks systemic understanding.
