Broken Essence

White Paper,
Dark lines,
Produced to,
Keep me from,
Feeling alone,
All the time.
Empty space,
No room, no light,
The space you wander,
Is the exact replication,
Of my mind,
Tears fall,
All the time,
But my face,
Remains dry.
Dear god,
I think im broken,
Did you not make me right?
Black heart,
Shriveled and crushed.
It was once full of love,
I guess it turned to dust.
See my pretty face,
Look over my broken smile,
Don’t wonder where I go,
Sometimes I need to get away,
Just for a while.
