A THOUGHT OF DESTINY
As we walk through life on the path of infinity,
our very existence is tested with each passing footstep.
Though all who have tried, have failed,
we still continue the never ending battle to cheat destiny.
Believing that I will be the one person who succeeds, where all before have fallen short.
Time and time again we are told that, "destiny is what we make it,"
knowing full well that no man or woman is God.
Striving to create something, which can only be manipulated by one.
As the days and years quickly pass us by,
there are those who choose to accept false destiny,
while the tireless continue the never ending search for that one person that life had intended for them.
No person knows just when or where their destined paths will cross,
but when that day finally comes, and the two hearts and two souls become as one,
do not question its validity, only rejoice at its arrival.
