The White Cross.
The insects were shining in the sun.
Tiny hands prodded until aloof.
Their colours psychedelic as their wings signalled like cloth.
But the one that stood out most was the white crossed moth.
That sprung around the garden,
then escaped our test tube hands.
Knowing it wasn't meant to live by demands.
