WHAT IS ANYTHING WORTH EVER WITHOUT MY BELOVED DAUGHTER?
Wonders galore on the earth and heavens
Beautiful and majestic expanses
Enchanting facades beckon mysteriously
But what is anything worth seriously
If my beloved daughter is no longer with me?
I am spellbound and amazed
At nature’s thrilling events unfazed
Murmarating flying creatures
In unison and majesty
Painting the sky in a tapestry
Down on earth wonderments amass
All sizes and colours of creatures
From the microscopic to the gigantics
Each with unique life endowing statistics
There are the seas and oceans
Prairies and mountains
The sun with its brilliance
And the moon reflecting its radiance
Wildlife icons abundance
All glorious and mesmerising at once
A bruise for every day of the lockdown
That’s what Bonnie must have suffered
To take her own life in the aftermath
What is the meaning of life anymore ?
We are endlessly anguished in this furore
Wish I had the hope of being with her for ever
But don’t believe in afterlife or even soul as entities
I believe all we are left with are memories
So her memories are all I will saviour
Oh, how painful are these going to be evermore ?
What is anything any more worth ever
Without my beloved daughter?
