Free verse
My eyes filled with darkness
For I cannot see

A scent so vivid

Masked in shadows
It gleams

Voices sing
To the drum of my ears

My tears feel blank
My perception is clear

Forgive me
For not following dreams

I’m sorry I’m blind

You see.
