Numbers

Many faces nationalities cities & countries to see...
All different background religions...some similarities...
Everyone lingers for something or someone
Some are finding their ways others are still redefining themselves as to be

Just like myself still searching for that rare fish in the sea
many caught my eyes few took my breath away completely
Each one with their smile to each their mystery
All shared a part of the storied life of my pity party

Although I've been hurt more than once before in the past
I'm hopeful that next time would be the last...
That's only wishful thinking that everything would be problem-free
Only time will tell If I'll be somebody next or just a possibility

Know that what I have is pure and a gift wishing to come true
Maybe one day someone shall rub that lamp and a genie will come through
Someday someone would want me to called their lover
For now, I'm just a spectre and just another number

So to add me to their equation subtract all the pain & misery
Multiply the potential see the endless possibilities
What do we get? Just have to wait and see
Just remember that there is only one

Me.
