Lessons Of Life To Learn
There are lessons of life to learn,
Coin has two sides - face down and up;
It moves quickly after the toss,
Finally, it does slowly stop.
One wisely works. Another sleeps,
Doing nothing each single day;
The lazy man is just headed
Toward hunger in every way.
Sweet summer comes. Wild winter goes,
As the tiny ants store up food;
Farmers do wait for the raindrops
To fill up the dry fields for good.
Ocean waves roll. The soft sand waits
Just for someone so creative;
The castles made are quite fragile,
Nature's wrath is not selective.
The two eyes watch. The blind senses
Everything that does surround him;
The delightful deaf and mute man
Makes sublime signs about his dream.
The warm wind blows. Flowers wither.
Today, the man is very strong;
Soon he shall breathe his very last,
To pay for sin, mistake and wrong.
The deepest sea. The highest hill,
The peak is just finally found;
Once one is there, the next step is
To be back on the lower ground.
Yes, life goes on. Death comes later,
The journey’s end we never know;
A blessing or a misfortune,
Where will the force of the wind blow?
The great solid statues stand still,
Arborescent plants bow and bend;
Teaching boastful people to call
And pray to one God in heaven.
Countless matters and things abound
In this wide world, for us to turn
Them into such precious treasures,
Lovely lessons of life to learn.
