CHRISTMAS
Dearest Bonnie
Christmas is never going to be the same
Anymore without you and your burning flame
But wherever you are , for you
Our love
Will shine through
All above
Christmas is never going to be the same again ever
I can still see you busily gathering
Verily tasking yourself for the festive cooking
No one ever made more exquisite roast potatoes
Or the Oakham chicken so softened like marshmallows
Covid had separated us when you were alive
Now that you are gone Covid is still around Omicron is omnipresent and omnipotent
In the surround
Still again separating me from you in it’s hold
Where you are lying under the soil in the cold
In the Kemnal Park Cemetary all alone
Whilst I am miles away hauntingly forlorn
We have laid many a fresh flower bouquet
Where you are lying peacefully under
Each petal of the flowers so delicate
Petite and beautiful as you are
But tons of sorrow thoroughly infused
With each flutter of the petals our hearts bruised
Last night heavily it rained
The soil on the grave is still wet and undrained
Much as our emotions are deluged and untamed
Christmas is no longer something to be amazed
Your unfortunate father
Has no joy or hope in his heart anymore
Now that you are gone forevermore
Love you, love you, love you evermore
Dearest Bonnie, I am in limbo
I am stuck between the devil and the deep sea blue
Come Christmas or whatever , it’s sadly true
But I will always , always love you
Christmas is never going to be the same ever again
Without you
