Untitled 00
When I once was a crustacean, I couldn't face myself
Had to have the hardest shell,
I knew I felt, what would be waiting for me, lurking in the deep
Hiding with my eyes open, I lost sleep
As certain shadows shaded the sand
Blending me into a safe comfort,
How long before I keep, hiding?
How long before I tire out and get bored?
Treading uncharted waters once more
Where there's endless possibilities of losing my shell, and it washing upon the shore
