bath

Through glass partition
sizzling hot vapors
fill the room
obscuring tingling liquid beads
as the translucent vessel waits
cold
white
for falling silvery streams
to trickle down
surrounding, saturating, embracing
head
shoulders
breasts
arms
fingers clenching the lavender
cleansing substance  that
foams, cleans, purifies
thighs
ankles
toes
funneling
into
a
sea
of
murk.
