Wandering

Jenna Gilmore

Ballad
Wandering my path aimlessly,
confused in reality.
Pondering existence.
It's to be known consciously.

Running from truth,
I plunge into depths of thought...
Freezing, I drop into another realm unconsciously.
Swimming through tangled twists of matter,
atoms surround my very being.

Watching my body from afar,
flowing slowly,
then slipping then back into reality
I fall back on my body.
