Write Before Bed

Come with me by a quiet stream
Lay in the grass and then we’ll dream
So, park the car and set the brake
We came to get a good milk shake

All thick and creamy. Where’ my straw?
You know I want to have it all
But here’s your straw, I’ll share with you
We’ll take it in and when we’re through

We’ll soar like eagles in the sky
Beneath His feathers we will lie
We’ll wake up at the break of dawn
We’ll spread our wings and carry on

Now back down to the stream again
We must go home, this is the end!
