Lunar Eyes
The moon and the sun have always been my favorite pair of lovers.
They’ve never had a fight over who gets to shine longer, or who gets to be brighter.
They always let each other have their moments, but that’s what the moon tells me.
The moon always tells me about how great the sun is, and how she can’t wait to see him. Even if it’s only for a few milliseconds every day, she knows he’s only on the other side.
I’d like to think I often have late night conversations with the moon, we stay up talking about the stars. She tells me about the sun and sometimes I wonder…
Does the moon feel the same way I feel the same way I feel about you?...oh chérie, what would you do?
I often enjoy talking to the sun, but sometimes he seems to think that the moon doesn’t need him as much. I on the other hand simply think that is foolishness, the moon and the sun have been together for light years of course the moon loves him. right? I mean the sun always talks about her with such fondness, she must love him. He tells me about how bright the moon is and how lucky he is to even know her and how nervous he gets around her. How he sometimes will even ask the clouds to hide him. But that’s what the sun tells me. I often have to reassure the sun about the moons love for him and he comes around at some point, and sometimes I wonder…
Does the sun feel the same way I feel the same way I feel about you?...oh chérie, what would you do?
