California Condors

California condors

Gather on rocky crags
perched high off Monterey
in  wild Winds
 born in flight they soar
and glide in circled air

Through urban plight they
did persist
Reborn to new heights
off mountain cliffs of majestic
Pride beholds

Circling above icarian delights
leaving shadowy forms below
Off the western seas
there circle flights do circle
and outstretched wings do soar
motionless still gliding
balanced against the wind
on jets of air they rise

Amidst the beautiful wilderness
soaring dreams on thunder
wings hover over ageless seas
and Rise above the mortal souls
so far above their mundane lives

While grey wings and heads of red
with talons held at bay do rest
spread their wings above the clouds
and rain so wild and so free

Your verses beautifully capture the essence of the California condors' majestic flight and the freedom they embody as they soar above the landscapes. The imagery of these magnificent creatures circling, gliding, and balancing against the wind paints a vivid picture of their grace and power. The portrayal of their presence amidst the wilderness, rising above mortal lives, evokes a sense of awe and wonder at the beauty of nature and the freedom of flight. The description of their grey wings and heads of red, spread above the clouds, symbolizes a wild and untamed spirit that dances with the winds.
