Drenched

I stood in the sea as the rain poured down
My body warm in the heavenly cloud
Poured from the mountain
My holy shroud
And poured the waters like waterfalls between my fingers like bears that mauled the shifting tides of fishery
And wondered how long I'd been free
This wilderness of isolation
Touched only by god and angel
With trees bright and raindrops clear
Something whispered in my ear
I turned my head to see my love
Who'd searched for me three fold and up
And I smiled at him and he at me
Our eyes did meet their pledge of the tree
And a family grew and it was made glee
And they lived their lives in harmony.
They walked the sands and through every land they held each other by the hand
Their family stretched across the earth
They blessed every day and nocturnal hour with animal and plant and heavenly power
And when they slept their dreams did awake to revel in a world to take
The extinct animals sang their tune
To awaken new love from moon to moon
Surrounding space with echoing tunes
