Questions

Am I all Alone?
Is there anyone home?
Can anyone hear my voice?
Have I been given just one choice?
Should I end my life?
Maybe just stab myself with a knife...
No no, I'll pop a pill?
Go out and kill?
Then can I  just please insane?
But then I'd still be alive to cause pain and be in pain.
Does anyone here feel me?
Do I have to scream it loudly?

I THINK MY SOUL IS DIEING!!!

Has anyone seen me crying?
I feel so much pain
but someday, in my casket, I will be lain.
On my dieing day,
Will all my suffering go away.

About this poem

I wrote this poem around 2002 or 2003 because I was in a bad place and it seemed like everyone hated me and I'd lost everything I loved. I found this poem today and God is reminding me that I thought things were terrible once before and I made it through so I can do it again. I recently lost my husband and miscarried but I'm here for some reason still and I guess only time will tell. I just need to allow the myself the time.

I first started writing stories about my animals when I was a little kid and first learned to write. I always have had such a creative mind. I started writing poetry not knowing it was poetry. I love to write and share my experiences in hopes that others can relate and not feel so alone in this crazy cruel world. more…
