An Invitation to Friendship

Come to me as a leaf blown by the wind, unguided and unfettered.
Without expectation, move on invisible wings over soft grass and hard ground.
Feel yourself lifted and carried on a magical ride to uncertain places, knowing that your destination is not
yours to choose, nor mine.
The journey, be it long or short lived, will be what we cherish and hold dear to us forever into time unimagined.

About this poem

The tuest and most honest relationships, and the longest lasting, are unconditional in nature.
