Shame

Thats too bad.
This is a tragedy at best.
If tonight is the night,
I'll go ahead and make sure
When its my time to depart
From this scene
I won't be the scene.
I'll be the silence.
What a wonderful way to end the day.
Thanks for the put downs.
The words that cut me like a dull knife.
The sharpness in the eyes that lay claim to love.
Really are the claim to hate.
This is what is true.
This is what I know .
When somebody tells you how much they dislike you
Can't stand you, it's not easy.
Shame on me.
