LIES

I'll burn the devil and her hell
to get to you
to free you
to free me

When storms rage
and the boat is sinking
I'll wake a sleeping Jesus for you
I'll dare my unbelief

No, I won't catch a grenade for you
We'll make them
For ours will be fireworks
An envy, noise, monument

But

I'll search for these dreams in your eyes
And be satisfied with the nightmares I'll find
These aren't the best days of our lives
We'll walk...leaving our hearts behind

I imagine you in his arms
I pretend he is Buddha
He had to be
Perfect

True love dies
Ask Jesus.
