A SILENT KILLER

I wanna tell you a story. So here goes....

Everything's quiet and everyone's gone

Her eyes are so full of tears, she can't see anyone

Quietly, she says goodbye to her family and friends

Never knew her first kiss was nothing short of pretend

Filled with conniving deceit, he leaves her in the end

Stabbed in the back by her best friend over teenage drama

An orphan girl, no mother or father

She feels alone, so heartbroken

Then the demon in her has finally awoken

She screams her lungs out, wanting to go insane

Her blood begins to boil as anger flows through her veins

She's now a shell of her former self

Who can't even call for help

Trapped in the darkest corner of the world

A life of despair with regrets of being a girl

She misses her old life when people used to be with her

In the end, she dies of depression

For indeed it is....

About this poem

What's more hurtful than the challenges faced by a teen. The most crucial age in the life of young minds. Not all of them live to tell their story when they succumb to it's hardships. Eventually they end up, in the world of no return.
