Six feet under
I use to hate the smell of cigarettes but recently it's become my cologne
You sign your autograph on my neck
Your hands linger on my waist
And now I know I won't be alone
But then they say take a breath, take two
Your lungs is blocked with fluid
So here are some rules
Six feet apart
Your hands could no longer linger on my waist so they linger on my heart
Six feet apart
I once considered it to be so far
Three breaths, two breaths, one breath…
And suddenly six feet apart doesn't seem so far
but now you're
Six
Feet
Under
I use to hate lilies but suddenly their my favourite flowers
I signed your autograph on a clock
When your days turned into hours
You hands will forever linger on my soul
And now I know I will forever be alone
About this poem
This poem is about a loved one who thinks six feet apart is too much when the person they loves becomes sick but soon realises it was better than six feet under which means dead and that they will never love again
