Those three words

It's funny how those three words
Can make or break your whole life
The words you once wanted to hear
Became the ones you despise

And the name that once brought you joy
Now brings you excruciating pain
The voice you longed to hear every day
Is now a mere memory in your brain

The person who once lit your whole world
Became the one who tore it apart
You should have been more careful
With whom you gave your fragile heart

Yes, you should have been more careful
With your fragile heart.
