Praising the LORD
I will give thanks unto the Lord.
Praising the Lord with my whole heart;
A congregation who adored,
Of the upright that I impart.
How great are the works of the Lord,
Studied by who delight in them;
Those who constantly have ignored,
Will be assured to be condemned.
Full of splendor and majesty,
Righteousness endures forever;
Honorable with modesty,
To a love that will not sever.
The Lord is full of compassion,
His works are always glorious;
Remembered in wondrous fashion,
Because He is always gracious.
He provides food to those who fear,
Always mindful of His compact;
Those who will worship and revere,
The Lord will bless them for their tact.
He has shown His power and might,
Giving them His inheritance;
While guiding them towards the light,
In His Law are in compliance.
His works remain faithful and just,
All His precepts are trustworthy;
Remember to put your full trust,
Abiding within His decree.
They are established forever,
Performed with His faithfulness;
Standing fast in His endeavor,
Are done in truth and uprightness.
The Lord has given salvation,
He commanded His covenant;
Making you His new creation,
For being humbled and content.
Fear of the Lord begins wisdom,
Which brings good understanding;
Comprehension of His Kingdom,
Throughout what He is demanding.
