Depression
They say life is full of ups and downs,
Most people often walk with frowns.
I don't know what depression is.....
Every morning waking up with a lot of baggage and questions within,
Every second, the whole body seems to be weaken and not willing to do anything.
Mind seems to be in the present yet lost somewhere,
It seems, the mind is focused but cannot recall anything.
The sensation of a niggling pain in the head is something, which is 24 hours, and incurable even with pills.
Feeling of breaking down into tears but surrounded by people forcing you to keep smiling,
The fear of judgment by your own people, not letting you open up what you are dealing.
The unshakeable confidence that you carry seems to fade away,
Self-doubts and a lot of fear is something that gets you carried away.
The heart feels safe inside its shell and is not willing to come out,
Affirmations may play a vital role but here, it also falls out.
Mind has started to see only negativity around,
The trust seems to have gone to take a round,
And the series of consecutive thoughts stop the mind to stay sound.
Meditation appears to be of a temporary solution,
Mind is not willing to heal even after so many action.
Never knew a single person will come up to play this role in my life,
Where the heart will start questioning who is truly mine.
The turmoil of sadness, anger and anxiety inside,
Enough to make a person go out of mind.
Arduous for me this situation is,
I still dont know what depression truly is.
Little do I know, I won't stop to smile,
One day the sun will surely shine.
Determined to make an impact leading me to go through this, which is wrenching my heart,
Maybe, to be the light of someone's life which is full of dark.
Grateful I am for everything that is,
With little more courage within, will surely one day bring myself out of it.........
